I have this strange problem. My old laptops bios doesn't see the internal hard drive, but any OS has no problem with it. I formatted and installed Windows, now I just can't boot there to finish it.

Since everything else seems to work with it I think I might just go through by booting from a USB drive and then Windows.

So, as the title says, I need to choose a bootloader, but have no idea what to pick. Or fix the problem itself, but Google didn't give me much.

Some details:

-Some old IDE drive, known to be working.

-Tested with another drive, same results.

-HP Compaq NX9010, a 32-bit laptop from early 2000s.

Thanks.
