I used to work in a camera store retailer. I was so excited when i heard about this camera and couldn't wait for it to arrive at the store. Then i used it. The auto-focus was slow.... and i mean slow... It was very disappointing, However if i am not mistaken canon have released a new firmware that has addressed that problem somewhat.

Heard a lot of bad things about it honestly.

The auto-focus is apparently painfully slow even after the firmware update.
