Hard Drive failiure?

Go to solution Solved by MrDrWho13,

Aaaaannddd you're screwed.

Stop using it immediately. Get a new drive and install your OS on that. Then try to recover as much as you can before it completely dies. You might want to do a checkdisk but that might kill it.

Is my hard drive close to die?

Yestureday i got a little bit angry and i hit my laptop and right when i did that, i started to hear a louder than regular noise that the hard drive does when it is "reading/writing"

and Today when i tried to start skype, It wouldn't start and tried to Restart the laptop but it did not work so i force shut it off by holding the on button, after that When i start my laptop it goes into "Auto repair mode" and keep's failing.

Oh and you'll want a dock or at least USB to SATA cable after you replace your drive so you can scavenge your files off your dead drive before it gives its last breath.

I edit my posts a lot.
