Hello all,

Registered today and wanted to say hi.

Been watching LTT for a while on YT and decided to make an account as I'm also looking to get some help.

I'm currently looking for a new cooler for my CPU since I'm still using the stock Intel cooler.

I was looking around the forums to see where the best place to post my questions, was thinking about somewhere in "The Workbench" but am not too sure. :(

Anyway, thanks for having me here.

Gravitation cannot be held responsible for people falling in love. How on earth can you explain in terms of chemistry and physics so important a biological phenomenon as first love? Put your hand on a stove for a minute and it seems like an hour. Sit with that special girl for an hour and it seems like a minute. That's relativity.

Hi and thanks for the reply.

I am on the fence with air cooling, as Linus & Co got me drooling over watercooling, but no custom loops just yet, still a baby with everything it has to offer, lol.

Personally i like the simplicity and reliability of a solid

tower cooler. Less points of failure and less noise,

but that is a matter of opinion and personal preference.

You can also use the report button to send a report

to the moderating team, if you are unsure where a

thread should go and want it moved, just fyi :)

yes, I am aware of the differences between the two and why I'm on the fence

WELCOME TO THE FORUMS!

I personally wouldn't go with any AIO. Not exactly quiet and don't perform much better (if at all) than the top-end air coolers. All that you really get is subjectively better looks. If there's no custom loop, then I really don't see the point to water cooling. Not that custom loops make much sense in a price to performance scenario :/

I'd say go with a D15, if your build has the clearance for it.

Or if you really care for a esthetics go with a cryorig cooler.
