Ram question

I have a kit of hyper x ram 2400mhz

I can pick up the same ram but its 1600mhz for cheap.

If I add it to my system, will it matter or will it be unstable??

It's better to buy all of the same type and preferably model/SKU of RAM.

Are you able to buy the same 2400MHz RAM? If so then buy it.

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.

Best case, all sticks will run at 1600MHz. Worst case, they won't work together.

Mixing RAM is never certain to work, but for best chances, you should match the specs as close as possible.
