So, a friend of mine bought an S7 Edge because her iPhone 6S was too fragile. The screen is coming lately shattered (I'm gonna send it in to Apple and pay the $140 fee because I don't want to screw it up, lol) I'm looking for a screen protector to prevent this from happening again.

TLDR: I'm getting an iPhone 6S and I'm wondering if what screen protector I get matters.

I'm looking at two options that have similar marketing (tempered glass, protects phone from hammers, etc.)

iHip Saver: $4.99

IN1 Nano Shield: $19.99

I don't have anything against paying extra if it will do me any good,

but I don't want to pay 4x as much for the same thing.

This is a question to help me in the future, as well, so: Are cheap screen protectors just as good?

screen protectors dont really protect it if you drop it, go get a case or something.

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

Yeah, I was planning on getting a case as well, but I was wondering if there was any difference in screen protectors. If I drop it on uneven ground, and there is something sticking up, my screen will be destroyed without a screen protector.

It will also help for when it's in my pocket with keys, if I drop something on the phone, etc. Just wondering if anybody had experience with cheap screen protectors vs expensive ones.

No, both will be destroyed.

Not really. The glass used in phones today don't really scratch with keys. Now people are using sandpaper tests or something.
