No POST situation, help needed

I got a PC to fix today and it was dirty. I cleaned it, cleaned the old thermal paste on the CPU, done. When I plugged all the cables, I turned it on. For my surprise, it wouldn't beep as it normally did, and there was no video in the monitor. Then after a few minutes on it would turn itself off.

What is wrong in the PC? I have tried unplugging the HDD, removing the RAM, but none of it made a difference. I read the post for how to respond to a no POST situation but I literally tried everything there. Everything I try has no result.

Turns out the issue was the CPU. I removed it and put it back on, and now it's working again. The only problem now is that the CPU reaches 100ºC and won't cool down, maybe something is going on with its sensor.
