I've placed a back-order for an EVGA GTX 1070 SC using price-match to get it for $589.99 CAD from NCIX. Being a back-order, the NCIX site says it ships in 15 - 20 days. But is it still possible that the card will arrive sooner if the 15 - 20 days is just a generic time-frame for back-orders to restock, and the product has already been in back-order status for a couple of weeks?

They will ship it in the order your order was received once the card is in stock. Once it is shipping, then they will charge you for it then. This is the way that all e-tailers do it.
