From time to time , I sometimes feel shocks when touching my pc case. I can only feel it when touching the top of my case , both side panels that are made with the same materials don't. I've checked the inside for any wires or some sort but esd is still there. Any suggestions?

The case should be grounded through the power supply screws. Maybe take the outlet off the wall (turn off power first) and check that it is properly grounded. The green ground wire should either be leading into the conduit or be attached to the box if the conduit is grounded.

I think it happened after plugging in other devices like my drive from the stb

If your case is properly grounded for safety there should be zero esd, double check that your power cord/extension cord etc is properly grounded, and also make sure the power supply has proper contact with your metal case

It doesn't seem to be shocking anymore but how to avoid it in the future? I find it usually happening after i plug in a USB Drive from my STB to my pc
