Script to add & remove Windows keyboard language

We all know the bug that happens every so many restarts, when if you have ENG INTERNATIONAL selected, it will add ENGLISH US, and use it as the default. It's a problem that plagued Windows for a while, and MS is aware but doesn't seem to be doing anything about the problem.

To explain why it is a problem - all the alt-gr symbols, such as ¡²³¤€¼½¾‘‘’ stop working if you're on ENG US, the € symbol being one that bothers me particulary because I use it every day.

 

In any case, the bug is easily fixable: go the the keyboard menu, add the ENG US language (it will add it in the menu, without adding a 3rd option in the language selector) and then remove it. This is getting REALLY tedious though, so I was wondering whether it was possible to write a script that would do all that with a simple click.

I just noticed on windows 10 there you can also use Winkey+Space

 

I know I can, but it's super annoying doing it every so many hours, and the language bar takes up unnecessary space on the already crowded taskbar.
