I have an a6- 6420k for a cpu and gpu. I'm planning on getting an external video card. What would be the best for my weak cpu? I'm willing to spend up to 200$-ish

750Ti?

Best would be like a 750ti or a gtx 950 until you upgrade your CPU.

For 200$ you can get RX 480 4GB version.

Your CPU will bottleneck it, but if you have that budget, why not buy better GPU now, and it will work even better once you upgrade to i3 CPU :)
