Gtx 980 SLI

Alright, so I want to get another gtx 980 and use SLI, I just want to be sure my system can handle the SLI, I think it does but im playing it safe and asking you guys. Here are the (relevant) sepcs:

Intel Core i7-4790K

Gygabyte GA-Z97X-SLI

Rosewill Photon-850 (850 Watts)

also, I rather buy tje same msi gtx 980 and have 2 identical gpus, but other 980s are way cheaper, theres no problem having the msi and lets say gigabytes geforce 980,right?

youre right, 8, but i can get 16. Do you recommend 16?

I have a 980ti and a 4670k oc (not anymore) to 6ghz and ram is SOMETIMES a problem... if you CAN, you SHOULD

Yeah it will work.

16GB RAM is more like advice, rather than something that you must have.

I can't see myself being stuck with only 8gb ram anymore.

Even 16gb seems kinda low sometimes.
