VR Ready?

I'm thinking of upgrading my graphics card in preparation for VR, however, I am not sure whether to run my system with an SLI config or just completely upgrade to a 980 or 1080 etc. Would appreciate some opinions

well you have the 970, 480, or 1060 if you want to do decent vr. 1070 or 1080 for the best vr experience
