bootup crash

Go to solution Solved by Clonzoo,

Driver issue is what I'd suspect. boot into safe mode and reinstall the graphic driver. I had the same issue when I installed windows, I actually had to instal windows 10 again, but thats for other reasons as I am sure that it was my drivers. Alternatively you could plug your screen into the motherboard and run of that until you get your GPU drivers in order.

so every time i start up my computer (windows 10) it goes through the first part of the boot perfectly. but right when it is about to go into the sign in screen the display stops getting video but the computer keeps running. i am certain that this is not the graphics  card as i have tested it in other systems and tried a different one in it but it still has the same problem. does anyone know what might be causing this?

I once explained to my girlfriend what true love is. I said, "If you were a shit, I'd put you back in" and to this day, she is still my little shit.

Go to Energy Options, click on the side where it says something about option at boot or start up time. Click the blue text on top of the page so it lets you change advance settings and on the same page uncheck fast boot, even if its recommended.

I had a similar problem and that solved it. If you can't even get to the OS, then there is some other problem.
