Good microphone for game streaming?

I need a good recommendation for a microphone for gamestreaming and high voice quality for Skype collaborations and calls. I have an ASUS STX II sound card, so I'd like to use the 1/4" input that it has. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

The Rode Podcaster is a pretty solid option:

You can use an XLR to 1/4 to connect to the soundcard:

This mic is a usb mic but in my opion is is far better then any other mic I have used in the sub $400 range.
