I make good money and want to buy myself a new monitor for my birthday. Problem is, wife has run up the credit cards again!

I'm struggling with doing the responsible thing (paying off the credit card debt my wife has run up again) and buying the $900 monitor I've wanted for a long time as a birthday present to myself.  Any Advice?

Be responsible. You never know when your car is gonna need new tires, or your house a new roof or your PC needs a new video card..... Sort out the credit card situation than buy yourself that nice monitor. BTW
