so i just made a thread about having a problem while using ftp servers(i posted it in the wrong subforum) and this GREAT guy AdmnPower solved my problem(if u want a look at it 

) so this led me into thinking about using something other than ftp for a fileserver, what i want is that i can tranfer files from my pc to my phone and vice versa without using my mobile(transfering directly using the pc) while having the option to use my mobile too for transfering, if u dont understand what im saying pls take a look at the thread i made(link above)

you want to transfer files from the nas to the phone without an app ?

like, from your ip direcly ?
