I just upgraded from an unactivated version of windows 10 to windows 10 pro.

When upgrading, I made it so that I would remove all files. It appears that I did lose all files, but on my HDD and SSD it still shows that my files are in there.

Is there a way to wipe my HDD's without losing my OS? Thanks

maybe theres a way to wipe everything but the OS in BIOS?

On the windows 10 search, search for refresh. Follow the instructions and you will get an option to keep or remove your files.

Hm, I'm not sure then. That is what I have always used to wipe my hard drive. Try booting into a windows 10 boot cd or USB, the. Clicking repair when that loads. That should reinstall the OS from the ISO and not form the win10 files that are saved on your computer.
