Just an update for those chomping at the bit to get the GTX 1080 aftermarket cards at or below the MSRP pricing. Availability has been pushed back a bit on the large orders. Zotac, ASUS, MSI, EVGA, and other vendors have pushed back their ETA's from last week and this week to 3rd week and last week of July. Zotac for example had a few hundred coming in to one disti on July 10th and that got moved to the 21st and that may also get moved back another week. Talking about the channel(distribution) with companies like Ingram Micro who order in mass and then resell to companies like Newegg, TigerDirect etc.

Some small orders are trickling in here and there which is why you see some cards become available for a 1 day and then the stock is depleted just as quickly.

It's pretty annoying as I'm ready to upgrade but they sell so fast and I'm not going to overpay either.

Same here, sitting tight and waiting. I have an account with one of theses disti's I won't name and I'm going to pick up the Zotac Amp for $588.00, that's close to what a lot of etailers/retailers are paying.
