windows 10 problem

So, when I try to launch Skyrim, or anything else, it says:,,The procedure entry point SetFileApisToOem could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\KERNEL32.DLL. How to fix it?

If you had Skyrim installed before you upgraded to windows 10, that may have caused the issue.

Redownload the prerequisites.

Strange. I just tested mine, and it ran fine. Better than it did on 7.

 

Try verifying the files, reinstalling the redistributables, and running it as admin/compatibility.

Not working. And it not just skyrim jur also any other game, microsoft word, daemon tools

Skyrim is not the issue, the problem is that you are missing a DLL file.

 

 

Things you can try:

 

Run windows update.

Do some google search on how to download or repair the DLL file.

If you upgraded to windows 10 from windows 7, try to revert back to windows 7 and re-install windows 10.

Thanks for the help! In the end I just had to restart pc and it works fine now.
