i have a amd a4 3305m with stock speed is 1.9GHz then boosted to 2.3GHz with amd overdrive app.

then i see this app, AMD PSCheck, that can be used for oc the cpu with a custom power state. i see that the 2.3GHZ was in the pb0 (boost), when a high usage app started then cpu down to 1.9GHz, when closed it goes back to 2.3GHz. that was a useless thing i ever seen, right?. can anybody tells me how to disable that pb0. i deleted pb0 and add a new power state, but when saved, the green bars not show at any bars. can you help me?

I guess you should check if your chipset supports overclocling :) or maybe just try and see if you have the newest version of that AMD software. Also check for priorities and see if the are high. Hope this works!

for overclocking?, yes, i have up the clock to 3GHz, and fine but sometimes it drops to 2,975GHz

It Could be Thermal Throttling if the cooling isn't adequate :/

the clock is randomly turn to pb0 and goes back to p0 when load. the temp was going up constantly using 7zip bech test (4thread) until 85C then stop. even when i use pscheck system information, thermal throtling is not visible

I guess you should just see if there is an update for the Overclock utility. I would say don't tinker with it if you don't really need that extra performance and please tell me if you fina a solution for this ^.^ Good luck
