The question is sound clip that i have attached sound normal or abnormal? The reason i asked is because when i first install a month ago i had not experience this type of noises. If this is bad pump i might as well RMA and go with custom loops as this would be second time i RMA same product.

Sounds almost like air bubbles but if you've had it in a long time and water levels are good could be something up with the pump, the DDC's while not silent shouldn't make that kind of noise.

It has not been ruining for a long time, i have heard this noise last week thinking it was bubble issues but still after a week(now) still have this problem. Would 400 AUD be enough for cpu loop without the cost of the fans? I was thinking of getting refund of the product and going custom loop route.

Well this is why I am not too sure. I was thinking of holding onto it until end of year when i do upgrade to replace it and go with custom loop or go back to my NH-D15.

I would contact Swiftech first to see what they say but I do know that those AIO unit do tend to amplify the pump noise since it readily passes vibrations through it similarly to bay res units. As for the custom loop if you want to go that route all that looks good and with that setup you can easily add the GPU into the loop later on without any issues.

What is the speed of the pump? It's a 3000rpm pump, and tend to get noisy pass 2200rpm. But it only needs 1900rpm or less if there is no extra component added.

Only at 1600rpm.... the noise goes away at higher rpm, i think because the fans is over powering the noise of the pump so.
