I need help! (Gaming computer)

I want to start off by letting everyone know that I know nothing about computers, I am a console player. I want to switch over to Pc gaming but I need a computer! What is the best gaming desktop I can buy with a $550 budget maybe $600. I want to play games and possibly be able to use mods smoothly. I have been looking on eBay and I see gaming computers for expensive and there are also cheap ones that are around $500. Please link a PC that is really good for gaming and explain why.

Build your own, its easy, plus you have the best chance to get the best for your money parts.

Save up more around 1500$ and build one. If you cant, then stay on console bud.

Think Kyle @ Awesonesaucenetwork on YouTube has a couple vids on gaming around that price point. Linus might have a couple too, but i think they're outdated now.
