There's a fair bit of wasted money here.

Motherboard is overpriced

64GB of RAM is waaaaaaay too much for a gaming rig. 16GB is more than enough.

Do you need an optical drive?

1300W is massive overkill on the PSU. You can get by easily on half that.

It will also give you the cheapest prices around.

The only thing I really noticed (besides this build being op) was that you're going a little over kill with the power supply. You could most likely get away with an 850W or 750W

I'm reusing the RAM from a friend, don't know why he didn't want it but im not complaining. Should I maybe just use 2 sticks?

Any recommendations on power supply? Or just any 800W or so will do.

For my line of work I occasionally have to burn stuff on CD's (gasp) so for me personally, I will be keeping the OD.

Also any motherboard suggestions?

If you're getting it anyway, then just use all of them, or maybe sell half of it. There's no benefit in using less, but it can save you money if you were buying new.

The G2 series is good, just that 1300W is too much. a 750W G2 unit is enough.

Just checking on the optical drive. I haven't had one in my PC for 3 years xD

Have a look at boards like the Asus Z170-A and MSI Z170A Gaming M5.

They're a good $400 cheaper and offer the same performance, only cutting out some gimmicky features.
