Hey guys,

I loaded up windows 10 on an older computer I found and noticed I wasn't connected to the internet. I click on network settings, and went over to change adapter settings to find that the network connections folder is completely empty. There is a wireless card installed in the motherboard, but I figured it probably wouldn't work without the drivers. When I tried out my powerline connection, it still was saying the same thing and the folder is still empty. The only thing left I can think of is run a 100' cable to the router and try direct connection, but I feel like something is wrong here.

If anyone could help me out at all that would be great. Thanks!

Well if you didn't install the drivers then the components aren't going to work.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

Yeah I knew the wireless card wasn't going to work, but neither is the powerline which usually don't require any drivers. Also, I'm pretty sure a "Local Area Connection" option is supposed to be hanging out in the Network Connections folder even if it's not being used.

Every component of a computer requires drivers.
