Dank Souls 3

So Dark Souls 3 was on sale at the beginning of the Steam summer sale but I didn't really have any interest in buying it until just the other day when I played it at my cousin's house and learned the ways of the dank soul. Now I want to buy it but all the sudden it isn't on sale anymore. Wtf? Will it go back on sale later or is that it for dark sales this summer? I really hope I didn't miss out on the sale RIGHT when I decide I want to buy the game...

It sounds like you haven't played any Souls title before. If that's the case, i recommend picking up Dark Souls 1 and 2 (Scholar of The First Sin edition) before hitting up Dark Souls 3. They're very cheap on online retailers. DS3 won't be on sale for a while on Steam until maybe the winter Sale.

RIP summer sale. It's only July and Doom isn't on sale anymore either what are these companies up to?

DS3 didnt exactly get a deep discount during the summer sale. might be lower in the next store-wide sale. 

 

but i'd recommend buying DS1, since DS3 loves to pay homage to it. DS2 is another too, but the direction is different from DS1 and DS3.

Have in mind that DS1 is a technical Nightmare on PC. DS3 is way better.

The Summer Sale ended on July 4, that was spelled out on the front store page since the first day.

 

It will go on sale again eventually, everything does, but we have no way to know when or what the discount will be. In addition to Steam, keep an eye out for sales on Amazon, Green Man Gaming, and the Humble Store as well.

g2a.com is my go to usually right now i see you mentioned DOOM and on that site its currently 35usd which is cheaper than the summer sale if I remember. DS3 is 44 or 68 for the deluxe edition. So look around and you can find awesome deals. I am new to pc gaming myself and up until recently I thought steam and origin were really the only two places to go for pc games.
