Hi Linus and team,

 

Need your take on what sort of hardware should I invest in, if I want to build a machine which ultimately will help me with my set up.

the attached picture describes what I want to do...

 

I need to set-up a machine on the India side, where I can have 7 users, who are connected to the vpn.

 

each user's unit will have 2 monitors, I keyboard and mouse, and needs to have a pair of headsets[with microphone]

 

I saw your LAN gaming built where you had 7 users connected to one CPU, that's where I came up with this idea, and thought to ask you about it. may be you can enlighten me with some more relevant information. he he...

 

need to know, information like, would I need a static IP, do I need to configure a ad-hoc server, what would happen if I have multiple virtual machine instances running on one cpu and stuff of that nature.

 

I did see that you had multiple graphics card connected, each graphics card supported one virtual host.

 

At the moment I have a Intel Xeon E3-1246 v3, H97M-D3H Mobo, with 12 GB RAM, windows 10. I do have 2 NICs currently hooked on my PC. I am kinda aware i might need an inter cooler, since the machine will be hosting multiple virtual instances.

 

I am not sure if my current machine can withstand multiple virtual machines...
