So, I've finally zeroed into a card i want after maybe 5 months of decision, but now i don't know which company is better.

I just really want performance, and i just want the best of the card.

So,

In this corner we have the EVGA 660ti Superclocked pricing in at about $309

In the other corner we have the

ASUS GTX 660 Ti Series Graphics Card Overclocked Edition Graphics Cards pricing in at around also $309

if you plan to use a waterblock or change the heatsink then go for the EVGA since it uses a reference board (pretty sure it does atleast).

if you plan to just stick with the heatsink on the card go for the ASUS since their DCUII heatsinks perform great and are quiet.

Pretty much same performance because both have same chips. Asus will have lower temps due to the better cooler so I would go with that one..

But out of the box EVGA will be faster due to the higher clock speed.

Have you looked at the MSI version: http://www.amazon.com/MSI-Overvoltage-N660TI-PE-2GD5/dp/B008SBX6GI/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1362536973&sr=1-1&keywords=msi660

I got the MSI version because it supposedly has better overclocking ability. I got mine over 1300Mhz with a unlocked BIOS. And the cooler is awesome.

Overclocking is super easy with GPUs and you should definitely do it.

I personally for better performance and a smaller price tag would buy a 7930(7870 MYST/XT) http://www.superbiiz.com/detail.php?name=PC-787_2V3 -- only $235' date=' and it beats the 660ti:)[/quote']

660Ti crushes it in BF3

If you want AMD get the 7950

Ps: The 7870 myst wins in pretty much all benchmarks

I have never seen the 7870 Myst card, is it a limited edition card?

Yeah it came out only like 3 months ago, it is a tahiti processor(7950/7970) but slimmed down

it would be better named as a 7930

if you want one get it quick, these are hard to find, and are at this link

http://www.superbiiz.com/detail.php?name=PC-787_2V3 :)

PS:if overclocked they can almost reach gtx 670/7950 performance

I would go for the Asus card, mainly because most of them come pre overclocked, and use a good cooler instead of the reference cooler on the EVGA cards.

Come and join the awesome Official LTT Star Citizen Org at LTT Conglomerat,  GTA 5 LTT Crew at LTT Conglomarate

Pretty cool, and great specs for the price. Too bad I already have a GPU.

I have a MSI 660Ti PE/OC.

I posted a link to it in a post above.
