Should I get

A: Cloud Core, for $60,  with no extras

or

B: Cloud (1) for $75 with the extras.

I get mixed opinions and need a final answer.

Get the Cloud + the Cloud has 7.1 channel well the Core has 2.0

Ignore that recommendation, 7.1 on headsets are 99% gimmick. I'd go the Cloud Core route personally as they are the exact same headset.

 

if you REALLY want that simulated 7.1 crap, download Razer Surround, voila same shit on any and all headphones whether they say "zomg leet 7.1 noob killer gaming gaming gaming" or not. That said, if you want 7.1, you will want to invest in a decent speaker system, not headphones.

 

 

fyi, neither the Cloud or Cloud Core have 7.1... It's marketing aimed at the ignorant teen market.

I have Razer Surround, and I want to know if the extras (velour ear pads, adapters etc.) are worth it.
