Hey guys I'm not new to LTT, I watch all of the videos on all of the channels, but I'm new to this forum.

That being said, I only have very, very basic knawledge of building a PC.

This is my parts list.

I recently (couple of weeks ago) got both the case and 970 used from two people in the US, I used to have a NZXT Guardian and a GTX 560. The couple of weeks ago when I put it all together it didn't boot for a while and turned on for a split second then off. It said the BIOS was corrupted once I put the DVI into the motherboard, and it fixed itself so I was like "okay. should be fine now." Nope, happened again two days later. Fixed itself again, then I backed up my hard drive to an external, updated the BIOS (realized it was not updated at all, forgot what version) and it was fine after that.

It's been three or four weeks now and it happened again when I came home to turn it on. BIOS corrupted, restoring from backup, went back to F13.

I'm not sure what to do about it. Today I messaged the guy who sold me the 970 asking if he's had any issues with it before and he hasn't responded yet. This is the third time it's happened now and it's concerning me. Also my boot time is immensely longer now so I don't want it to keep getting corrupted and reverted back to an older BIOS version.
