Yesterday I made a thread that my PC wont boot into Windows 10 Pro, even after reinstalling it. It would just boot up past the BIOS Screen and when I went to log into my account the PC had a blink line blink across the screen and my monitor would say "No Signal". The PC would still run for 10 seconds after would eventually shut down and restart by itself and just be stuck like that.

I installed Windows 7 Ultimate to morning and it works perfectly fine. No crashes or none of that crazy stuff. So I installed all of my Windows 7 Updates and finally the "Upgrade to Windows 10" thing came up. I want to use Windows 10 because of how streamline it is and obviously because its support will last longer. Windows Update downloaded Windows 10 Pro and began to Install it. In the "Upgrading Windows" screen it said 100% Copied but then when the PC rebooted to do the next step it went a couple percent and then it happened. The Blue line flashed across and the my monitor lost signal and the PC stayed on for 10 seconds then restarted. It booted back up and said that it was reversing what it has done and put me back into Windows 7.

My PC is basically refusing to have Windows 10 Pro installed on it or ran on it. It runs Windows 7 Ultimate perfectly fine though. This all started when I was playing GTA V, three days ago and the blue line flicker happened. After that blue line flicker my PC refuses to run Windows 10

I need some help here because I want to be running Windows 10 Pro because I personally prefer it.

Have you tried resetting all the BIOS settings? just like setting everything back to what it was before?

I've had issues similar (but not exactly like what you're describing) and what I did that fixed my mobo was to reflash the bios. I got the .360 file from the manufacturer's website (MSI) and flashed it. Make sure you know what revision board you have!

So if I flash the BIOS with a new version it should work?

I have flashed my BIOS before but that was a while ago. There probably is a new BIOS update available so I will look and respond if there it!

I only have my LAN driver installed and USB 3.0 Driver installed

I dont have no Video drivers or Chipset drivers

Should I install those? I was trying to just Update Win 7 without having a shit ton of stuff on the PC

Well, I would start with the reflash first. That can be done directly from the bios. Simply copy the .360 (or whatever) file to a fat32 drive (probably just a flash drive) and shuffle around in the tabs for your motherboard til you find the firmware flashing settings.

Back I flashed my BIOS

I was running Version 2102 and I updated to Version 2502

So yea my BIOS was pretty old

Have you fixed It yet?

Try resetting CMOS and updating your video drivers then get a new copy of windows 10 and try. Not saying It is, but It could have been a corrupt OS file you had there :P

Wouldn't be surprised. How are you installing windows 10? download link in the os (windows update) or are you getting a DVD with it on it? I would recommend maybe downloading it from Microsoft (not sure how to do this but I think you can right?) and writing that to a flash drive. That way you can do a clean install.

I've only ever updated to windows 10 from windows 8.1 directly so I wouldn't know the process on windows 7. Might not be as straightforward. Fresh installs usually work though.

Yup that's right.

Check your system files, there maybe two versions of Windows 10 you're loading up.
