i need ideas for a new game or app to make.

currently my brain is kaput and i am competing against my friend for this

this is not for a class project and i am leaning towards java or c++ i am fairly proficient in both

If you want something visually pleasing, you can go try out the unreal engine to make a game. The Unreal engine interface is not the most intuitive at first, and takes a bit to get used to. 

As for apps, I would suggest building something that interfaces with something you use on a daily basis, and see if you can interface with them somehow using some sort of API.

i am familiar with the unreal engine and i like that app idea it is just the problem of interfacing it with what
