Fraps becomes out of sync

Fraps is a really nice tool to use, i see many people using it. I have one problem with it though and its unbearable. The audio lags behind the video, which is very odd. I dont possibly know how this can happen and ive tried fixing it before, but no luck so far. Anyone want to take a shot at some fixes for why it isnt working correcty?

It happens when it switches over to a new clip right??, the only solution us low end YouTubeers have is to record mic audio separately and align in game in the editing software, Or move to something like X split and record locally if you have the horsepower to compress on the go since it only makes one clip
