Hi there,

I use labview for work and I need some people to see the graphs and charts in my programs but not go through the options and settings, just look at the tabs in real time, Labview has an option called web server which opens the program in the browser using a C:/whatever URL and lets the user go through the tabs and graphs in real time, this is perfect for me but is only accesible through the same network as it is not a internet url, so... My question is, how can I make the web server accesible for someone outside of my local network?

Thanks

Local and wide area network should work the same.  You just need to config your router for NAT to forward incoming transmissions to your server.

You dont need a domain name to be able to connect outside.

To help you better can you answer a question?

So your labview graphs are on computer A.  How does computer B connect to cmputer A to see graphs assuming both comp a and b are on the same local network.

No, as long as they're both on the same network and you type the correct route it doesn't need further doing

Sorry if I dont understand completely.  So you can type the "address" in a web browser and the graphs will pop up?

What would this address look like?

Yes, you type the adress which looks like C://Programfiles/Labview etc. and the graphs appear just as if it was an actual website. It's just as the actual program, you can go through the tabs, graphs and charts but without being able to do any changes or access the settings.
