Custom desk idea

One of my projects this summer is a custom made desk for doing work on. I was planning on making a model in sketchup but I still want to see what you guys think. The desk will be 8'x3' and will be make of white painted wood, metal plated legs, and clear acrylic. The main top will be a plain white wood sheet with a 1x2 piece of clear acrylic to show the custom 2 PC's 1 CPU build I am planning on making. It will be an 8 core chip (probably Xeon) with 4 cores running a NAS and 4 running a computer for watching YouTube and Netflix and some casual games. It would be in a custom case and each PC would have a GT 720/730s to run the graphics. This PC would be mounted to the top of the desk with the internals showing through the acrylic window. In the top left corner would be a 30'' touchscreen monitor on a VESA  arm. The top right corner would be a Solder station with a 936 clone and a small cabinet with solder and tips. It will also have a desk top storage area with a top that lifts up to store stuff underneath. The drawer will also be able to slide out. The middle will also have a light that can be positioned over any part of the desk. The area below the desk will be a shelf with an area for my PC. What do you guys think of this? What should I add. You using UnRaid? Or something else? Also you probably only need two cores for the NAS.

Get a glass window not acrylic. Acrylic will scratch way too easily and will look awful after a few weeks. When getting glass talk to the people at the shop because you may need it to be laminated or you may need safety glass. The bigger the area of glass the thicker it will have to be.
