ASP.NET with Mono

I was wondering if anyone has had experience running ASP.NET MVC applications on the Mono Framework using Mod_Mono and Apache server. I'm interested in getting this up and running and if anyone has done this before, let me know how you did it. I'm having a hard time getting the server configuration to work correctly and I'd really like to be able to create an MVC 4 application instead of MVC 3.
