Does your mum use CUDA or OpenCL GPU acceleration for her workloads? Or is it entirely CPU dependent?

No she doesn't use GPU accelerated apps

A simple 5820K hexacore CPU would do fine. Tailor the storage to her preference if it's not enough. The 750Ti is simply there because there's no iGPU in the CPU (although you could probably get away with a cheaper GPU). PSU may be ever so overkill since the build doesn't consume all that much power but you'd probably want to stick with a reliable PSU for a $1000 PC.

I've heard that Corsair CX600M is not a reliable PSU (I wanted to pick it up myself but I've been told not do do it). I think that the EVGA Supernova G2 that was suggested will be a better choice.

The problem is we don't have here EVGA PSU

Oh, ok. Do you have any Seasonic PSU where you live? I'm not an expert, but everyone says Seasonic PSU's are always a safe bet.

Im from Israel and we  Seasonic  PSU's but they are for some reason 5+ years old lol

The most safe bet for me here is Corsair.

Ok, I understand. Still, I think that there is something wrong with that PSU considering how many people told me not to buy it.
