I would also recommend using a dedicated AP on the opposite side of your house away from your router if you do choose to run ethernet across your house like @ShadowTechXTS mentioned. This allows for the best of both worlds in terms of having computers wired so little speed is lost and a strong wireless connection for any devices such as phones, tablets and laptops.

If your house isn't wired for ethernet then you need to get a decent length of cat5e or cat6 cable and the correct tools and connectors to terminate the cabling. But if your house is run for cat5e then plug your computers into that and use one of the runs for an access point on the other side of your home opposite of the router. I recommend any product from Ubiquiti's Unifi AP range.

  • A good wifi range at all area at your home? I want to use internet as stable as I can at all area.
  • To make the internet faster? I want something that can increase my internet speed.
