I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

Thanks for the help people!

I took some of the parts from the build lists above and did a little changes - views?!??!?

Get a board that supports ddr4, it should be only a few bucks more. Don't get the cx600, not a very good psu. Get the cx550m(better quality) instead. Wait for the rx 480 instead of getting the gtx 970.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

Here are some pointers you might want to take note of:

CPU: You mentioned you are recording and editing videos am I right? If that is the case and you can squeeze in an i7 6700K for $324~ you can get the best possible time for editing. If you don't record often and do only minor editing, then go with the i5 6600K. Another note, do you plan on overclocking? If you do not or don't know how, don't get an unlocked CPU, however, don't let that discourage you.

CPU Cooler: A 212 EVO is a 'blower-style' cooler. It makes very loud sounds which can be very irritating. A Cryorig H7 is your best bet for a good cooler for $34.50.

Motherboard: You can get a better motherboard which supports DDR4 Memory (more to that later) at that price. What I would recommend is the MSI Z170-A Pro if you plan on using an unlocked CPU. If you don't plan on overclocking, you can get a H170 for a better price.

RAM: Now that DDR4 Memory is affordable, you can get 2 sticks of 8GB RAM if you are recording and editing videos.

Graphics Card + Monitor: The GTX 970 is not the best of choices now. You can get a RX 480 for the same price and better performance or if you want an NVIDIA card you can opt for a GTX 1070. If you only game at 1080p, get a 1080p monitor.

AMD CPU =/= AMD GPU. You don't need an AMD CPU to use an AMD GPU.

As far as I know, the 212 EVO is very  quiet. My dad recently upgraded to one and it's whisper quiet and performs very well. Also it is not a 'blower' style cooler. A blower would use an impeller sort of fan (not found on the 212 EVO).

The bottom is not a blower the top is.
