Its a good phone, but it's old, and the camera quality is, quite frankly, terrible.

see Linus's review:

EDIT: After looking at specs, i see it is more powerful than i thought. it will definitely last, but at the end of your two year cycle, it will seem very old compared to newer phones out there like the galaxy S9 which will be out by then.

I wouldn't recommend it. If you're going to get a contract why not just get an S7?

because all contracts do is spread the cost of a phone out over 2 years, and the end price you end up paying is equal or greater to the price of the phone

Yes, so why don't use the financial leverage of being able to pay over time in order to get a phone that will probably be viable for at least 3 years?

because all in all, you still end up paying for the entire phone. being tight on money, saving up for a vacation, or even just wanting to save some cash to buy a GTX 1070 will all be aided by not having to pay more every single month.

why not live in a mansion if you can have a mortgage and use the financial leverage of paying over time to buy the 20,000,000$ house?

Don't you think it's cheaper to not have to buy a phone again when your contract is up?

I don't get your logic though, if I don;t have money now then i would rather buy a phone that's 8 dollars a month that's almost as good as a phone that's like 16 dollars.

So should I get it for the two years?
