Computer Desk/Table?

Soo I'll be having my own room after we transfer to a new condo unit. Not that big of a room, I think just enough for one dude.

Since I'm free to do whatever I want with the room, I plan on buying a computer/office desk for my PC. I have a 1x 22" monitor and another 15".

Anyways my point is, does anyone have a "standard" regarding ergonomics for computer desks? Also, if anyone has like, opensource designs of desks, they are very much welcome.

I was just looking to start this very thread. I have some old thick wood desk that's falling apart and creaks louder than my PC. I do like the thicker wood, sounds more meaningful when I slam it in frustration, but all the google searches for "desk" show these tiny small plastic desk that would snap at the slightest drum beat, let alone put my pc on top of.

 

What is a good cheap desk that I can fit two monitors on, and my master case 5 on top of for the world to see, And still have room for drinks and a plate of food, and books, and a keyboard, and extra space for the pile of cups and plates that stack up. I tell you, putting my chicken wings on top of my keyboard gets me worried. Am I just better off building one?

I've seen people like jayztwocents and Paul's hardware attach table legs to wooden counter tops. See if you can find these things for cheap, or order from ikea online.
