Why does it 'have' to be Linksys or Cisco (which are actually the same company but different brands)?


If you're only going to be open to two brands then I don't see why you want anyone's help. If you're mind is set on getting a Linksys router (which in and of itself makes no sense to limit your options like that) then you don't need anybody help to just browse Amazon or even their own website and get the highest performing one they have under your budget lol.

I mean Linksys has been that great since they got sold off to Belkin. Cisco only has Enterprise or their SMB stuff which is definitely outside the price range.
