Radiator mount

Go to solution Solved by airdeano,

it is not the 'ideal' location. the radiator acts as the systems reservoir. when the pump is the highest point of the liquid cooling system, any air trapped (to provide thermal expansion) will occur in the pump assembly and that is bad. air in the pump created noises, pump dry run and eventually will damage/failure the water pump.

Is it safe to mount a 120x240 radiator of a pre-filled filled water cooler at the bottom of the case? Will it affect the cooling performance as the pump will be above the radiator and if the loop is not completely filled then the pump won't be able to access any of that water. I know that sounds weird but just want to clear it.

Keep it simple.
