Windows 10 Lock screen help

So I recently got the windows 10 upgrade and so far everything is good. Everything is compatible, things are working fine. I only have 1 problem. My screen keeps turning off after about 30s, when in the settings it is set to turn off after 1hour (same for the pc to go into sleep mode). Does anyone know why this could be?
