4k 120hz is not possible right now with current display adapters.

4k 60hz ips is the best you're gonna be getting for a long time, and 120hz 4k is so hard to drive, its almost entirely out of the qquestion for the foreseeable future.

It's possible now with the GTX 1080 using DisplayPort 1.3/1.4, but there aren't any displays which use this yet, as far as I know.

Asus showed a 4K 144hz IPS monitor at CES, but it was made clear it was an early prototype. No idea on a potential release date, but the tech is there and it is coming.
