I currently have the following setup:

i5 4460 3.2ghz

r9 270

16gb ddr3

Seasonic 520w

512gb ssd

I want to buy a gtx 1070 from asus strix or g1 gaming and need an advice from you guys.

Should i buy a i5 4690 for my gtx 1070, to not bottleneck? I've seen this video:

And this guy is getting maximum gpu usage with a 4690k at stock speed (3,5ghz).

Or should i buy a i5 6400, from what ive seen it should not bottleneck the gtx 1070:

I play gta 5, fallout 4, rotr, doom on 1080p 60hz screen.

I'd buy a i5 4690k, i5 4670k or even a i7 4770k or i7 4790k and overclock it if you have a Z87 or Z97 motherboard.

If you don't have a Z87 or Z97 motherboard, I'd get a new Z170 motherboard and an i5 6600k or i7 6700k and overclock.

So you are saying i should stay with 4460? What difference is between 4460 and 4690?

yes just stay with your CPU. i asked this also and i have a i5 4440. they recommanded me to not upgrade since it wont bottleneck the 1070 or 1080 or 980ti or titan x or any card. just dont worry about it
