Disabling drivers from the device manager.

I was trying to disable the keyboard from my laptop in order to use a USB keyboard instead, I don't wanna uninstall the thing completely.But I find the option to "disable" the driver to be grayed out, same happens with other devices, but it seems kinda random to me as to what Windows allows you to disable and what it doesn't allow.

 

So I was wondering what's the reason for this, and more importantly, if there is a way around it.

probably if its a built in keyboard it uses the generic windows keyboard driver which is part of the OS and cant be disabled

Same applies to Microsoft USB keyboards I guess?
