recently upgraded top gtx960 from gtx750

gtx750 never had any issues with screen tearing with vsync on

now with the gtx960 i get screen tearing in most games and sometimes with videos using kodi

screen tearing is seen with vsync on or off doesnt matter if frames are over or under 60fps

tried removing and reinstalling cards and swapping hdmi cables and uninstalling and reinstalling drivers

anyone can give me a few pointers on what to do

i'm using a i3 4160, 16 gb ddr3 ram gtx960 using hdmi to my 40inch samsung tv

Hey there Langjai!

something u can try is to downloade msi afterburner and use Rivatuner (extra program that comes with it) to limit your fps to 60

and also turn off vsync. fps limiting does the same but there is less chance for screen tearing.

other then that. silly question as i dont use tv's for pc gaming or anything related to the pc.
does your tv support 60fps over hdmi? some of the older TV hdmi connections only support 30fps :S
