So I have several sets of speakers that run off several amps. What I want to do (in theory) is buy a coupe systems with amps I can salvage and combine them into multi out put/multi in put in 1 box.

Heres my thoughts.:

1) I have 3 amps right now all inputs are using adapters for multiple devices to all three at the same time. Like so:

Current Amp setup.jpg

What my thoughts are is I can combine the outputs on the AMPs into 1 speaker system. Like this:

Proposed Setup 1.jpg

I'm worried that there is a chance that energy from 1 amp could feed back into another and blow it. Also I would need pretty powerful amps to run this many speakers i'm guessing.

Any help at all would be great. I originally had plans for a audio switch but I realized that what I need is to be able to run and control volume, gain, treble, bass, boost, etc from multiple devices separately and feed them into 1 speaker system without having to worry about reaching over and constantly changing peripheral settings.

high voltage diodes

Do you have any recommendations for them? I've looked at them in the past but didn't know heads or tails of what was a good product or not.

You will overload those amps. Each amp will apply a massive load on the others.

I did think about doing a 2nd receiver ,but quickly thought that it's not worth it .Having 1 receiver will be good just make sure to have many yrs in the warranty ,then you will be fine as a back up .I use a SONY receiver and it's great does what i need it to do that's it no more no less. SONY STR 550 .

For me Pc toslink/optical cable to receiver then the sub out to my 6 channel guitar amp ive had for over 16 yrs it works like a charm ,total bass is around 500w RMS. more than enough for my lounge room . and my Amp is not even on the internet at all lolz ASHTON PM6300.

Anyway i do suggest saving for a fantastic receiver ,either Pioneer or Sony are good brands there is others so look around ,i would sell and save to get 1 amp. My thoughts you can do what you do cool no 1 is stopping you .This is just an EG: best of luck with it ,keep us posted tho keen to see how this ends up if you keep them.
