what about the 

DeepCool PSU 500W 80+ APFC DN500 V2

is the zalman better or is the deep cool better

again, i have no expeeience with those psu's, and have not seen anyone using them. however i can safely recommend evga psu's. check jonnyguru for professional psu reviews

Play it safe.

 

A good rule of thumb.

If Linus uses them, they are good.

 

So for PSU's that rule would apply to Corsair for ATX and Dark Rock for SFX

I can't find them on the PSU white list so I would try and avoid them or they may just be really new versions. Have you looked the up on a PSU review site.

Nah, check out the PSU whitelist in my signature. If you can afford a 1070 then you can easily afford to spend 70 USD on a PSU like the EVGA GQ/B2 or Seasonic G-series.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
