is this psu good

 

im planning to use this psu to power a 

 

i5-6500 =CPU

gtx 1070 or AMD  RX 480 = GPU

1 tb segate barracuda = storage

8gb ddr4 hyper x = ram

 

i would really appreciate it if you can help me out!!

should be fine, however im not entirely sure of the zalman psu qualities overall, and how stable those are

what about the 

DeepCool PSU 500W 80+ APFC DN500 V2

is the zalman better or is the deep cool better

again, i have no expeeience with those psu's, and have not seen anyone using them. however i can safely recommend evga psu's. check jonnyguru for professional psu reviews

Play it safe.

 

A good rule of thumb.

If Linus uses them, they are good.

 

So for PSU's that rule would apply to Corsair for ATX and Dark Rock for SFX

I can't find them on the PSU white list so I would try and avoid them or they may just be really new versions. Have you looked the up on a PSU review site.

Don't use these no name brands. They will fry your parts. Stick to reputable brands and use the psu tier list.

Nah, check out the PSU whitelist in my signature. If you can afford a 1070 then you can easily afford to spend 70 USD on a PSU like the EVGA GQ/B2 or Seasonic G-series.
